This fall the Cornell Tradition celebrates 25 years of rewarding excellence in undergraduate service, work, and scholarship. The Cornell Tradition, an alumni-supported program
that recognizes and rewards outstanding undergraduates,
is a contemporary expression of the founders' vision. The
program awards 545 fellowships each year to Cornell
students who demonstrate significant work experience, a
commitment to campus and/or community service, and
academic achievement. Cornell Tradition Fellows contributed over 170,000 hours of work and over
70,000 hours of service to the campus, local, and home communities in the 2006-2007 year alone.
